In Feb 2010 I booked a flight for my son to Thailand. I booked online and found it all very easy and within 20 minutes I had received my conformation email. The airline was Thai Airways which my son said was lovely and very spacious and all at a good cost. When in Thailand my son realised he wanted to come home a few days earlier than his booked flight home so he called me and asked me to ring Ebookers to change his flight. I thought this would be a dreaded task after reading previous reviews but this was not the case...my call was answered within minutes of dialling and the operator was very polite and helpful and sorted out an earlier flight home for my son within 15 minutes and at a reasonable cost and as before after 20 minutes I had the conformation email detailing the flight. I would recommend Ebookers...this is the second time my son has booked through them as he booked a year ago for France and had no problems whatsoever. I dont understand all the bad reviews...people like to moan at the slightest thing but never give credit where credit due.

Booked a hotel in a city in Ireland and when I rang to confirm the hotel said they had no rooms free. Even though I have to confirmation and its lucky I rang to confirm. Turns out there was something on there that weekend and the hotel wanted to resell the room at a higher rate. Am disgusted at this type of service as I booked months ago and they did not have the decency to let me know in advance of said greediness. Is this even legal? I will never use this again and will tell everyone I meet not to use them.
